Should be an easy swap. I don't think there is much difference in height just more pull back on the WG. The parts guy at a dealer told me you can usually go an extra 2"-3" with the stock wires/cables. It worked for me to go from the Softail Standard stock bars/risers to Heritage bars/risers.

I have wide glide bars on mine. Fitted with no problems apart from releasing the brake banjo bolt at the brake master cylinder to turn & release the 'binding' of the brake hose. By putting the new bars on the brake hose is put under a bit of stain which is released if you undo the bolt - re aligned the hose - Immediately tightened the banjo again again with no loss of fluid so no bleeding required.

Good bars but I am now looking for a set of HD narrow beach bars as I want the grips a little closer than the wide glides ones.

I am hoping that they will fit as easily but I have yet to investigate this option.

Which Wideglide handlebars? Different years aren't all the same.
