Default Cobra slip on's for my fatboy

Like to hear opinions from anyone that has Cobra slip on's installed on their softail.
How do they compare with other makes of slip on's?

I had them on my Breakout.. and they are very good.. really nice sound.. I have sinced changed them out for the Bassani Road Rage 2-1... but I actually like the sound of the slip-ons better...

super quality muffler. the billet end cap is solid and it's nice to be able to rotate in any direction. plus their chrome is guaranteed not to yellow, however, mine have 'started' a little where the flange meets the header but stopped exactly where the muffler starts. the sound is sweet. i've had loud pipes which are fun for the first 20 mi. these are best of both worlds, quiet when you cruise and bark when you want. definitely would purchase again. the ONLY negative i'd say with them is when i first installed them, they didn't have a distinct HARLEY sound - maybe cause i'm just used to V&H or pipes w no baffling. they have a slight metric sound. but like i said, i'd def buy them again regardless.

and the price doesn't hurt either. 261 from dennis kirk i believe.

Had them on my Slim, nice tone and +1 on the end cap. I can't compare them to other brands of slip ons, but I can compare to VH big shot longs... prefer the full system, better tone, more volume, more lower end torque.

Hop this helps,
Andy
