Default Another saddlebag thread

As it turns out..shipping to australia for the osprey bags is $350-$600...so its tricky getting an idea of bags.
I found carrol leather heavy duty bags at jpcycles and want to see a softail deluxe with them on...
Anyone know of any pics?
Cant find any at all...

Google is your friend!

I found two threads which had pictures.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...addlebags.html

Hopefully this helps in your decision. Are you open to other brands of bags? I had a set of Saddlemen bags on my Sportster and they worked great.

yeah i googled, couldnt find a single pic of those bags on a bike...let alone a softail.
the links u put up arent the bags or the bike.
if i cant get the bags from jpcycles or similar then the shipping is horrendous.
leatherworks etc either dont make a similar bag or shipping is huge..so need a pic before buying blind..

The second thread I listed has a picture of a Fat Boy in it with Carroll Leather saddlebags. The poster claims they are the heavy-duty bags. The ones you asked about.

Sometimes you just have to take a risk. That comes with internet buying. I bought Leather Pro saddlebags for my Softail Slim. I never saw them on my bike before, but I lucked out in the end. They looked great. How willing are you to take a chance?

yeah sorry ,mate... i replied from my phone and cuoldnt get it to work fast enough to correct myself.

i did find bags like the ones i want at leatherworks though.

they are the extra large classic bags..almost the same dimensions as the osprey buffalo indian chiefs.

regarding genuine, over here they charge $600 a bag... thats pretty steep in my opinion.

here's a pic http://www.leatherworksinc.com/119-leather-saddlebags/#
