Default Rocker fender chop

I'm doing a fender chop on my rocker tomorrow evening. Can anyone help me out with some measurements. When I tape it off to get the shape nothing looks right. I've measured from the seat back about 8 inches and I think that looks best but I'm afraid when I actually cut it it's not gonna look right. Any measurements, pics or advice are appreciated.

Don't know what it measures. Just had it chopped where I thought looked good.

Mine is 12" from back of seat or 19" from top of swing arm to the end of the fender.

cant help with any exact measurements for a rocker fender, but this might help for overall fender size and to give you an idea what degree of the wheel you want it at to get the look you want.... also post some pics when your done

Thanks mike. I'll keep that in mind considering there's a 50/50 chance I'll screw it up bfor I get done with it. I'm probably not gonna be happy till I get a heartland tho.
