Default Feels like a flat rear tire but isn't????

My bike was fine, went to wash it then after I washed it I was riding then I thought my rear tire was going down?? I made it home but tire isn't flat and didn't see to lose air pressure. What happened?? Another way to describe it is like a flat spot on tire. Didn't see that either.

Well through further inspection I found out my rear tire has the cord showing through the middle of tire. Guess it's time to get a new tire. Thank God I made it home

It was a Dunlop tire. I bought the bike two years ago had that tire on it when I bought it it had 9300 miles on it now has just under 22000 miles on it now.

on our Heritage my first 4 tires, Lops (401's) 150-80-16 Rear, I got 10k-10.5K before they wore down to the Wear bar's..
thinking you rode around 2000 or more miles on a worn out and unsafe tire. Thank God you didn't have a high speed blow out..

Just some info,,,,The two Lops 402's I had on the front lasted 20K easy and still had over 2/32'nds when I changed them out

I'll also add the Mich II's I put on at 39,700 miles is not wearing much better..
Measuring them with my tire gauge,, I may get 11K on the rear, but what surprised me is the front will be worn out at about the same mileage.

no more Mich's commander II's for me.. Think I'll try some Lops Touring Elites II's next time

If you got 22000 miles out of a rear tire you are definitely due.
