Question Chrome Down Tube Covers...

Hello forum, Just asking an opinion on those chrome down tube covers. I have a Fatboy and my swingarm is all chrome (not covers) and was contimplating on putting these covers on the front down tubes with the rear frame being chrome to balance it off. Anyone have these and does it cover most of the tubes? All opinions welcome... Thanks in advance for any replies...

Wow, I'm guessing it was a bad posting. Anyone? Just saw these covers on the Kuryakyn web page. How about anyone seeing these on anyone elses bike at a show or bar hopping? Thanks for your time anyway...

I have these on mine, the coverage is good on the outside but it doesn't wrap all the way around the tube. I like the way it looks, I have a chrome swing arm and allot of chrome on the front so it was kind of a dead spot for me without these. It balances out the bike now IMO.

There are some haters who don't like anything chrome unless its a chromed original piece of the bike...what can I say, haters gonna hate

I am a self admitted chrome ***** but chrome covers just aren't my thing. I don't knock anyone for what they do or use but for me and my bike, not a fan of covers. It has nothing to do with "hating" , it's all about personal taste and choices.

I know there are other threads which Ive already read, but none talk about an issue I have.
Ive ordered the Kuryakyn downtubes, but my bikes has an OEM oil cooler with clamps around the tubes, so any thoughts about having to run the covers under the clamps? I think I have to, but just wondering if anyone has experience with this.
Thanks.
