I get about 30mpg with some Vance and Hines pipes and a big sucker airflow and a power commander.

bought new in 07
1st 1K miles 38-42 Breaking her in..

At 1K miles/service I did stg1,, ( pipes, SE intake, SERT, Syn oil in all 3 and dyno..

From 1K to 10K I got 40-42 mpg..

From 10K to 15K I Got 40-43 mpg..

At 15k miles I had the cams installed and another dyno and between 15K to 20K miles she got 42-45 mpg

After 20k and fully broke in I have always since gotten between 42 to 48 mpg no matter how I ride her,, 2nd-3rd gear putting around or 6th gear on the super slab..

And IMHO every yr since then and now with 47K miles on her,, she just keep's running better every yr and still gets 42 -48 mpg all the time...

Been able to see 42-45 if not hammering and running highways. Stop/go and really getting on that throttle into the higher RPMs/MPH (5000+/90+), it's been down around 30-35. Generally, I'm looking at about 180 miles between fill-ups, and still have a quart or so left... pretty happy with it, actually. Scoot is currently stage 1 (Freedom Performance upswept fishtails and minimal baffles, and Arlen Ness inverted AC) with dyno/tune. Hoping to look into a cam job over the winter to add some low/mid HP and torque... but we'll see.
