Default A mini-fairing/flyscreen that actually works!

After reading tons of positive reviews, I thought I'd give the National Cycle Flyscreen a try.
First and foremost, unlike every other windshield or fairing I've been behind, there was no increase in buffeting. Buffeting drives me crazy! It also didn't create an updraft behind the screen, blowing upwards on your face.. another thing I don't like.

With a few experiments with the adjustment, I found a spot which gave smooth airflow and took most of the wind pressure off my chest. Feeling around with my hand while riding, the air was deflected out to a point slightly narrower than shoulder width, and about halfway up my head. Huge decrease in wind pressure overall. Worked fine up to about 95 mph... that's the fastest I've had it so far.

Looks something like this, also available in clear, around 150 bucks:

It seems hard to believe that so small a screen could move the air enough to make much of a difference. If it works as you describe it is a great product for sure. What speed were you traveling at when you said it was able to move the air up to shoulder height?

About 45 to 80. Didn't move my hand around to check the envelope at 95. Wanted to keep both hands on the bars and pay attention to the road. Was on a back road in deer country.

It's on my wife's Rocker (her wittle hands were getting tired holding on for extended periods at freeway speeds).
National Cycle says they don't have a model to fit the Rocker, but the N2534 fit fine. As you can see, it doesn't come up much higher than the risers, but I guess that's all that's needed if the shape, angle and location are right.
Sorry about the crappy photos in the garage, it's what I could get right now.

That makes sense to me as when I tie a sweatshirt to the bars there is less wind pressure on me at all speeds... have to check this out

That is incredible if that little screen works that well. The bullet fairing on my breakout puts the wind just over my helmet, and I mean barely.

Here's an older thread with a review, partly what convinced me to try it:
