Default Opinons on newer tuners??

Ive been out of the loop on tuners and such lately...Any thoughts on new or old tuners? In know its like asking about oil, eveyone is different...but just trying to get some thoughts.. I have a 2007 Night train with aftermarket pipes and intake with the Harley download and VIED's. Thanks all!!

If you dont plan on any other upgrades a PC-V is all you need. Get one with a map from fuelmoto and save a few bucks over the newer tuners. I have one in my 06 and it's fine. My 09 has cams so I went with a tmax.

Added:

Fuelpacs worked well for both bikes but PC-V's were better & easier to map or adjust...went to the tmax when the cams appeared

I had the same setup as you, with the dealer remap, followed by ViED's.
I was happy enough with the ViED's to leave them on for a year, but I never cared much for the full-time piggyback install.
Being as I have no plans to advance past Stage 1, I waited, then the V&H FuelPak 3 came out and I jumped on it.
It's a substantial improvement over the ViED's... although you'd probably have to go with an older model for an '07...

Go with a used/new Fuel Pak or Fuel Moto Micro Tuner.
Until you upgrade to stage 2 (cams) anything else is like adding sugar to a gallon of Southern sweet tea; more sugar won't make a bit difference in the taste

Power Vision from Fuel Moto. A great tuner from a great company.

The new Superchips Vigilante tuners for HD Delphi fuel injection systems is a good product. The EZ hand held tuner model is on special for $149.50 for HD forum members. I put one in my 13 Street Bob. Plug it in to the data port, download and store the stock tune then download the tune for your set up. Like the name imply's easy.

I usually do the Cobra FI2000R. Since I familiar with the Superchips from the 07 Ram that I had, I thought that I would give it a try and save some $.

The idle was much smoother, no lag in the throttle response, engine ran stronger and cooler.

Here's a good overview on the most popular tuners-

Just did the Superchips Vigilante EZ tuner up load to our bike and I already feel the difference. We have the Bassani Road Rage 2-1 pipe and the Arlen Ness Inverted air cleaner. So for the price and convenience, and you are only stage, I would go with the Vigilante EZ.
