For cleaning I spray Simple Green (1:10), let it sit, ans hose off.

For remaining grunge I spray again. wipe with sponge, and hose off.

Simple Green here. I've used it on my son's motocross bikes for years and it works better than anything else I've found. I also use it on the back wheel of the harley to get off the heavy grundge. I buy the generic or off brand of it that you can find at the dollar store for about $4-5 per gallon.....I think it's called"Mean Green" or something like that. You can use it full strength if you don't allow it to dry, but safer to dilute it. The S100 spray foam also works...just a little pricier.

HECK!! MY old lady does one THING and can not say on FORUM, But I get bucket of Turtle Wax car soap and wash with a mitt, I have never let get so dirty that the soap would not work, but if had to, just buy a good wheel cleaner that break's up grime and brake dust, but set your hose on low setting so water does not get in your switch's and wheel bearing's, so after good wash and rince I use Air Blower to dry bike then I use a Carnuba Wax that is safe for your chrome and do the TIN'S first then I do CHROME, shine's like new penny!! Just my 2 cent's worth. GOOD LUCK PURPLE HAZE.

I spray diluted s100 on it after wetting the wheels, and use a soft bristle paint brush to move it around on the wheel before rinsing it off with the hose. I don't use a strong nozzle, just regular pressure works great...
