they are the same bike but the NT is blacked out, the blacked out look is the latest "me too" trend but it will probably fade just like 3dtv and Danika Patrick

Just had to make the same decision waited it out for awhile and ended up on a 08 night train for less then a softail custom. i absoultely love the bike it was ridden softly but it was a bike that the previous owner thought he could handle a lot more aftermarket installs then he really could foruntatly i can do all the work myself so fixed all the mistakes and the bike is amazing now. Love the blacked out look and went from iron 883 with a 1250 kit to street bike and now back on a hd the best one ever made.

The Bad Boy was released in 95, with the Train soon thereafter in 98/99 till 2009 and then came the Dark Customs.......is close to 20 years still a "trend"?

I prefer the customs to the NT. Anything that helps me be more visible out on the road to other drivers I'm all for. More importantly I just prefer chrome to black

I was wondering the same thing when I saw the "passing trend" comments.

Rock music is a trend.

The people that keep referring to blacked out bikes as a trend (even though its been going on for 20+ years) are just butt hurt that they ended up with a shiny bike like 95% of the other bikes out there
