Default Road-King hard leather bags on my Deluxe?

All -

New Harley rider and I went with a 2007 Softail Deluxe because of the price. However, I am looking at putting bags on it, and I am very interested in knowing what I can do to get some Road King bags. I am not a fan of the hard/plastic ones, but I do like the hard (leather covered ones). Anyone know what my options would be? I wouldn't mind putting the crash bars either, but, I will look at that option later if necessary.

Looking for input on this one. Any suggestions would be great.

I would imagine you mean the cycle visions adapter kit at about $300 plus the cost of the bags. So you are looking at $600 to $700 with used leather Road King Classic bags. Your exhaust must be lower than rear axle.

i had the road king custom saddlebags, took off the "road king" script and added the "deluxe" script. I mounted them using the cyclevision mount. I am looking at selling these since I got a new bike. PM me if you're interested.

This sounds ready made for you.
I just did this to my deluxe. I used regular hard bags. Just make sure your pipes are under the axel.

I like the Road King Custom bags as well. They look like the Deluxe Nostalgia bags but a bit more room for those that need it.
