Any reviews on the Drag Specialties 5 ¾ LED headlight?

Strange, because I'm having a similar issue with the stock headlight and aux. lights - they're also developing a white powdery film inside the glass...

I have the 'A' version as well. Bought from Lake Shore when they were still around.
I had it in my 2009 CVO Springer, and was impressed. When I sold that bike, I kept the light. Now that I'm building my 2006 Softail Springer Classic, it's going to be used there. I also added the Heritage Springer aux lights (not the HD kit for newer springers, but the actualy Heritage Springer parts). After selling a few other things, I was able to pick up the LED passing lamps too, for no money out of pocket.
Hopefully with all three lights being LED, I'll be quite pleased.
One thing to consider, the LED lights are heavier, and bounce the headlight housing more as you ride. You'll want to get the vibration dampener from HD, or remove the isolation mounts and use a hard mounting solution. I chose option two.
Pictures from my 09 headlight bucket, though yours would be the exact same:
Stock rubber mounts:
Hard mount:
Parts needed:

Excellent post Redbeard. I have seen the HD Isolater on Ebay and wondered why you would need it. My RK has a rock steady light and my Springer's is too...but I had to take it off to install the windshield and after seeing it's held on by only one bolt I guess I can understand why you'd need a vibration damper. And you pictures give me the rest of the story.
