Default Scavenge Oil Change

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, but I'm interested in knowing more about doing oil changes and getting out 100% of the old oil. Can someone provide a link to the best thread on this topic as it relates to a Softail Classic? I'm sure there are other ways than buying the kit from RogueChopper?

1) Drain old oil
2) Add new oil
3) Disconnect Return Oil line
4) Connect tubing to Oil Return line and run to a bucket
5) Crank bike and as it pumps out oil add new oil until clear oil is pumping out
6) Turn off bike, reconnect Return Oil line, and change oil filter.
7) Top off oil level
8) See psychiatrist about your OCD

Made my own by slicing an oil filter in half, worked just like the rogue system. Happy with the results.

And is a special tool required to disconnect/connect the oil line?

Only way to get out all of the oil:

1) Pull motor
2) Disassemble over drain pan
3) Let sit for a week
4) Reassemble and install
