Default easiest way to tune after big bore

So I'm getting ready to do a 107 kit and woods tw9b cams and Carl's speed shop heads. I got Roller rocker arms and hydraulic lifters and all gaskets andbearings Bike currently has sert but only mods are velocity stack and open pipes. Runs a little rich based on what I see on plugs. Can I start it after I'm done without changing tune or will it screw up bike? What's least expensive way to tune it right? I don't want to mess with tuning myself. Also if someone has a cam bearing tool to loan. ...... thanks guys

You really only need a tool to remove the inner cam bearings, just freeze the new bearings and use one of the old cams to tap them in, works like a charm every time..

Btw bike will be fine to start to check for oil leaks etc, but personally I wouldn't run it for to long. When I finished mine I trailered it to the dyno and the motor got broke in on the rollers by the guy who tuned it.

Pay to have it done on a Dyno by someone who knows what they are doing. The old saying applies, Pay it now or Pay it later! I always find it odd that some will do or make performance upgrades on thier bikes and then stop just short of completing it 100% and getting the max out of their upgrades, mods or builds.

Hey Andy, just sent you a pm. That is exactly what I did to the cam bearing. Tapped it in with the old cams. Your right, worked like a charm. Once I finally get the push rods adjusted on my build, I will trailer mine to the dyno to get it tuned also...Take care...Ray...

As for the cost of a GOOD Dyno tune? In My area of the woods, (50 miles S.W. of Chicago), it usually goes from anywhere between $80.00 to $120.00 an hour. My guy does mine for $100.00 an hour. A good and thorough Dyno tune can take as many as 3 hour's but also keep in mind I am no expert when it comes to using or having Dyno work done. I do know you will be very happy with the end results and getting the MOST out of your build.

ALSO, and anyone can disagree with me at any time they would like too but DO NOT GO TO A HARLEY DAVIDSON DEALERSHIP to get your bike Dyno'd. They are bound and have to go by and with the EPA guidelines and you maybe no better off afterwards then when you took it to them.

Maybe your statement is an Illinois regulation. As I had my 2012 decatted, 255 CAMS installed, and tuned with SEPST by an HD dealer in Oregon. And I know I don't have an EPA tune. So, I think your statement is not universal.
