That's a nice bike for a rider of any skill level. Getcha' a set of them shocks for the rear end and some of them mini apes and you'll be set!

I just got back from a few days in North Carolina (drove...didn't ride up) and i'm torn. I don't know what's worse...having to put the bike away during the winter or dealing with the idiots on the roads down here.
Maybe if we could send you guys the idiots and you guys can come down during the winter...win win

Welcome and great choice. Also congrats on passing the MSF. I would suggest patients and much practice on the breakout since it is your first motorcycle.
