Vinyl protective sticker under passenger seat on Breakout...
#11
I took the vinyl off early on didn't put anything under the pillion at first. After several rides with the wife on back I noticed the damn seat had rubbed lines into the paint... I now have a bunch of electrical tape on the bottom of the seat but am looking for a large patch of rubber to put down in between. The lines in the paint are deep enough that using my power buffer isn't taking them out
Moral of the story: make sure if you use the pillion that you have something in between it and the fender.

Why not just leave the "sticker" on and get a fender bib?

I like your idea - do you know what the part number on this is?

I had a mustang one and it didn't hug the fender well at all and just was shoddy all around.

Here's what I did today as my vinyl sticker was exactly as crappy as all the others.
1. Removed the Sticker
2. Put some double-side adhesive under the seat
3. Put an A4 format sheet of black felt (1,5mm) under the seat and trimmed the edges
That's the result - felt is hardly noticable
Hope this can be of help to someone...
Cheers guys
