Default 2007 Fat Boy What mod to change first?

I did it. I am finally deciding on the Fat Boy. Must have drove a few of you crazy going back and fourth. I was thinking of the handle bars first, going to apes. But then I got to thinkng the wheels first to get rid of the stock look.

First thing I did was my pipes, wanted to hear the bike. I think the next thing I did was the seat which made the ride alot more comfortable. Got some saddle bags and did the bars after that and then the front wheel. If I had to do it all over again id do it the same way, pipes, seat, bags, bars, wheel.

My thought is that the first 10-12 extra HP are the cheapest and easiest. Stage I: Pipes, Big sucker or comparable, PC III or comparable. Then work on your purrty stuff. Just my .01 (not worth .02)

Pipes,
Intake,
SERT,
Dyno Tune

I think it's better to give it some 'sound' and additional performance, and then go with the cosmetic things, windshield, bags..

What is the price range on all these? Trying to compare to when I was fixing up my jeep. I spent over $45,000 on that. I putcustom pipes on my jeep for less than $400. I checked into replacing my bars with apes and they were about $750 parts and install. The wheels I would guess around $2000(for nice ones)? What about the pipes?

congrats dr, as i just got mine this week,i know about these tough upgrade choices. seeing how i haven't even picked mine up yet,to much rain,i guess i'll keep it stock until i get a few miles on it. i dicked around for months trying to decide between fat boy and road king custom and then softail deluxe. i got what i really wanted. i'm sure the handlebars then the seat will be first to go. enjoy.

Depends on what you get but plan on roughly 500-600 bucks for some quality pipes.

Pipes and Wheels!! Just my opinion but those Fatboy wheels are damn ugly.
