I am a big guy and felt like my seat on my deluxe pushed me too far forward and was a little to high. Was going to send it out but decided I can do this. Removed the cover marked what I wanted to remove. Used a hacksaw blade that I ground a point on to rough shape it then sanded the foam smooth . Used spray adhesive to glue saran wrap over the foam and keep water out. Put the cover back on and re-stapled. Its fit great now.

Nice. Is the leather loose on the remaining foam? It looks like you took a good amount off. Looks great from the pictures.

 

Used a small amount of spray adhesive just on the back of the seating area where it now concave instead of convex. But it actually works really well. Fits nice and snug. BTW there is no leather in this seat its all vinyl.
