How much?
#11
1qt for the tranny
1qt for the pri
a little less than 3 for the engine.
for the engine I put some in the filter before installing, about 5-7 ozs, just enough that it all soaks in, then I pour 2 1/2 in the tank, let her run a 4-5 mins, the add till she in the middle of the L-H marks on the dipstick,, Usually less than 3 total when done.
so you need at least 5 to do all three. I also usually just get 6, then I have some extra in case I need to add a little during the next 5k riding, and time to change again.

You need to run the engine long enough to warm it up before you try to drain it out.
Two reasons for it are that the bike doesn't have a wet sump setup like a car engine.
Its a dry sump and if the bike has been sitting any length of time, even overnight there is a good chance that some of the oil in the tank will seep back down into the engine.
So you need to run the engine to get as much of the oil as possible out of it and back into the tank.
Failure to do so can easily result in the bike 'throwing' up oil out of the tank filler plug.
One way to prevent it from doing that even if its been run a bit is to only put in about 2 to 2.5 quarts to start.
Running it a little low at first is not going to hurt anything.
But putting too much in however can easily make one hell of an oily mess of the side of the bike.
The other reason to run the engine is to get the oil to pick up as much crap as possible and hold it suspension so it comes out with the old oil.
