Also, how big are you, tall and weight, if you don't mind answering that question that is? Also, do you have air ride and in particular the SS? Last question, would yours drag like if you went over a speed bump in a parking lot? I don't want to lose my stock tin set and this color combo so that means I MIGHT have to buy 2 scrap fenders. I already have a new gas tank so I can keep that stock tin set and set it aside

I will be following this thread very closely.
I'm 6'1", 220lbs. Yeah Im on a shotgun shock. I try to avoid all speed bumps if possible. If there's no way around them I'll air up the rear. I do scrape from time to time, but then again I don't baby my bike, I ride it as if it was stolen haha.

Hi How did you put the deluxe trim on the klock werks fender?
Do I need to cut in half the trim?
Thanks in advance

So I've canned that idea for now. I'm thinking of making a swingarm-mounted fender which gets around those problems (but introduces new ones for the ECM and seat mounting).

I digress. I've also looked at stretched options, but as you can imagine, they are pretty much non-existant in the UK. However, I have compiled some links of other threads that had bikes in that I liked the look of, and US retailers that have stretched fenders for sale. So in case it helps anyone, here they are:

I've been running my klockwerks stretched fenders for about 18months, always have my shotguns set about half way which is probably the same as most and have not had a single problem with them of my fishtails. Pull the trigger and get some!!

I'm rocking one. In my opinion it makes a big difference on the overall look of the bike.
