Is it possable the danny gray "custom " seat doesn't fit my fat boy. According to the web site it does , its the butt crack solo. The holes won't line up. I have bent the front tab down a little to get the side bolts in and they are still a 1/4 inch off on one side. I also removed the 3/4 inch threaded bolt that the stock sundowner seats bolts tread into because the side tabs are too narrow. Does anyone have this seat and has anyone heard of a aftermarket "custom" seat not being built to exact specs?

 

There is a member on this forum who has one on his fatboy. I believe it to be Riggidyraw (spelling)? I was looking at the same seat for my 07 fatty.

I'm also interested in getting a solo seat for my 07 Fatboy. Especially after I've read that some people are having a problem with the stock seat rubbing the back fender.

Does anyone have a picture of their bike with the butt crack solo installed? Is this seat comfortable?

 

I have a DG buttcrack solo, and it fits my 00 softail fine.

 

I just read where you say the side tabs are too narrow. It may be a seat for a 99 and earlier bike. The frame under the seat is 11" wide on the 99 and earlier softails, and 11 3/4" wide on the 00 and later.

Here's a solo Danny Gray without the buttcrack... I had them take it out - Who want's something riding up their a$$ anyway. Comfy as HELL.

On Danny Grey's website is shows that only the BigSeat, Weekday 2-up XL, and Weekday 2-up are available for the '07 FLSTF. Is their website just not up to date? I love that seat loader, and I've got a black pearl Fatty.
