Like the Softail Custom but don't really care for the pillow stepped seat. Would like something suitable for two up ridding but not as thick as the Sundowner. Something like the new rallyrunner wouldbe nice but I don't think it fits the Custom. Anyonetried any different seats on this bike yet.

 

There is nothing different about the seat fitment on that bike than any other FX Softail.
Anything will fit as long as it's for the 06'-07' model year.

 

I personally think that harley seats are poorly made and not attractive in anyway. I went with a Le Pera seat which I feel is a much better designed seat: higher quality covering, steel carpeted baseplate, nice shape, comfortably padded. I have a Daytona square back two-up seat on my '05 Standard and I have done 600 miles in a day on it.

Not a two up, but I added a HD Brawler. Man, that King/Queen looks bad, but it sure is comfortable compared.

 

You don't like the retro king/queen? As it stands now, this is my next upgrade. It's not perfect, but it keeps the same setup with a clean, lower look. I would like to see other options. Below is a nice pic of the retro stolen from the custom pic thread above.

 

R_Einan How do you like your LePera seat. I've seen some posts stating that they are too hard. It's a great looking seat just wondering about the comfort.
