Wow, just looked through your album and I really like what you've done with your bike. I want to go a very similar route, do you have an item number for the fender you have?

CPS,
Ever go on craiglist or are there swapmeets in your area?
I usually find stuff in really good shape for real cheap.

Thanks. If I remember right its #11340 I got a 200 rear but kustom werks told me they make them for the smaller rear softails

Other swaps like webster really cares to the older bikes not many evo parts up there either great for pan or shovelheads

Yea be searched CL a few times. It seems that people are just selling their stock parts that they've replaced. And I went to Webster once when I first got my bike with intentions on picking up a cheap fender and selling the stock handle bars and highway bars that came on my bike, with no luck on either. Definitely a place for older bikes

So, I reached out to double down parts and they don't make a 7.5"/150 rear fender and didn't know of anyone that did. They recommended I go with Heartland 180 kit (for those of you also looking to keep the 150 rear tire)

Right, I am trying to avoid cutting my stock fender and just buy a pre-cut aftermarket one that can just bolt on. Less modifying the better

Dude there is absolutely nothing on the market that is "bolt on", but foot pegs. All fenders need massaged to work. Even that bolt on heartland kit needs work. Find a used fender buy a $30.00 grinder and a $20.00 drill $10.00 in cut off wheels and drill bits. It's not hard, or have a shop do it for you. Sorry to sound like a d1ck but, 2 pages of good help is hard to come by, & you have it. Try calling heartland and just buying the fender. It shouldn't be more than a few hundred. Hell if you were closer I'd put one on for you.

Yeah but it wouldn't have paint on it and your bike would have a strange way of stopping at every bar it goes near haha.
Call Pat at Led Sled Customs. He makes fenders and has blanks in any width. I don't think any run more than a couple hundred. I've used several of theirs and not had a bad one yet. American made to boot.

Gotcha, you're not being a dick, you're giving the information I need. This is my first bike and I'm a complete cherry when it comes to modding it. Looking for any and all the information/help I can get. All of it is appreciated. And I'm not easily offended anyway
