Default SE race fueler question

I just bought one of these used for my 06' night train that has had the SE stage 1 breather and V&H pipes open. I am having popping on decel and accel, very blue front jug exhaust, not so bad on rear, sometimes idle is eradic.

I just noticed the paperwork says the RF is for the 05' my friend says they all work the same after 05',is this right?

Also am i going in the right direction to cure this lean popping issue? Just trying to get a majority rule here i guess.

Baffles will help with the popping. Harleys like some back pressure. I'm not very knowledgeable about the race tuner, but you may have to take it to the dealer to get it flashed for your specific bike.

SE pro or race tuner and Dyno it. I have the race tuner and it needs to be dyno'd since I changed pipes but I have been holding off because I am in the process of getting more head work on my SE heads. As soon as I get my heads back and on my bike it's going straight to my Dyno guy. I am probably a good 2 months out but I will post as soon as it's back together and back from my Dyno guy.

You might want to check, but I believe the SE race tuner is "married" to the bike it is installed on, at least the version I have is. If that's indeed the case with the used model you just purchased, it probably won't work on your bike.
Best of luck, dude...

That was my first thought as well...

On some of the newer high-end Fuel Moto tuners you can buy additional "licenses" to use the tuners on more than one bike, but to the best of my knowledge this isn't possible with the H-D SE tuners...

Yes, the very first process the SE Race Tuner performs once connected to the bike and powered is to Sync (Marry) itself to the ECM. Once this process is performed it cannot be used on another ECM. Additionally, the SE Tuners are not very user friendly. There are much better tuning devices on the market. Check out the Power Vision.

A little bit of quick searching and it appears to be a module that allows you to adjust the fuel curve

Kinda primitive compared to a tuner, but I guess it could keep you from leaning out and melting down
