Ordering the kit this evening! Then the tear down begins. I'm starting with a bone stock 05 Standard so I've got lots to do! I have V&H Short Shot staggered home in the garage that I still don't have installed

Because your doing new bars Id suggest installing heated bar inserts. They rock! Never really worth tearing up your existing bars to do it but if you are installing new bars its the best time to do so IMO.

What lowering kit is everyone using? The kit from Harley or aftermarket?

Shotgun Shock... no other compares. But on the cheap, Dead Creek Cycles sells lowering collars that are very easy to install and lower it either 1.5" or 2", depending on which collars you use.

Progressive 422s. Affordable, great ride and durable. Tried air and did not like to finicky.
