Also got the front reflectors coming off and the fork legs repainted as some one gave me the idea fishing line to remove them as they are like cement on there.....well that didn't turn out well with biting into the paint and ****ing it up. So they need to be repainted now but that's ok as needed new tubes. So that's all getting done over the next week or so too

Also, one more idea. If you have not changed the stock shift linkage, you can slide some heat shrink tubing over the long rod to black it out.

Ok so it's for car body decals etc so it'd hold up to a beating. Thanks man, going to have a look around for this locally. All it will need after the next couple weeks is to be slammed

Just find the local sign shop, or sign supply shop. They will have it.

Man where were you a couple months ago haha. I would of preferred this over blowing the money I spent on an Arlen Ness linkage. The Arlen is a nice linkage, but I'm still unsure about it, not sure if the contrast cut suits it, it does help add a little break in the black, but...

That's odd. Mine were not like that, just solid all the way to the tree. You could just trim the vinyl off where that taper is. Or you can get some pvc pipe and wrap, or paint it, and slide it over the tubes.

Was going to be to difficult for being I've never done this before to cut it off on the tapered edge so I just cut it off at that groove at the top just before it tappers. I knew that would give me the straightest line to follow to bio it off at. Apart from that I'm very happy with for a first time go. Thanks again man!
