RE: strutless fender for standard
Both fenders went on easy.I had to drill the holes in the front one and the rear I had to cut out where the ignition module went.Easy to do though.4.5" grinder and a cutting disc.No welding though.

RE: strutless fender for standard
It's a strutless rear fender. The sides are are very thick, basically the struts are welded on.My wife has ridden with me several times with no problems.I have a Plug-and-Play sissy bar that mounts to the top of the fender and I have an HD Sundowner seat for when she rides.I'll take some pics and post them later tonight.

First, pull off the stock seat.I have a chrome headed screw to fill the back seat mount on the fender. When I drilled the holes in the fender I used a stock HD seat so I could use a stock seat when I wanted.Take that screw out.

Then I bolt the sissy bar bracket to the 2 mounts I put in the fender.Like I said, use a stock HD seat to lay out your holes. Then I slip on the Sundowner seat and mount the back of the seatthrough the sissy bar bracket to the fender.
