Mine turned purple (probably from the exhaust wrap) so I just painted it flat black with silicone spray...

we do coat T headers, they come out great! but nope on the chrome. most guys will not dip used parts as it can either cause poor chrome adhesion or contaminate the dipping process. you can cermaic and polish or use a unique color in high temp powder
