Anyone know how those SE pipes sound compared to the SE II slip-ons?

I love the way those pipe look and am considering them for myself, but I like the sound
I have right now with the slip-ons.

Anyone heard both that can comment?

 

As a matter of fact I had slip-ons on this very bike before I put the pipes on it.
Here's my take.
The pipes are just a tad louder than the slip-ons - almost unnoticeable.
The Slip-ons actually have a nicer low end than the pipes.
So it's a trade.... Do you want the slightly louder pipes - or the
slip-ons with a lower end?

I also like the way the pipes look more than the slip-ons, and my wife likes not roasting her ankles on those stupid
stock Fatboy pipes.
