Take a good look at my wires. You may want them a little longer. If I had it to do over I would probably do 9.5 inches just to give a little more curve. I definitely would not go any shorter than 8.5 inches. Hope this helps!
That was my experience too. No one, not Magnum or HD, knew what the stock specs for the coil end were. Thanks for the info! It's exactly what I needed to know! Been chasing down these answers for almost a year now.

I was planning on going somewhere around the 9.25"-9.5" range, w/ a 45° clocking, & maybe a 45° boot, but I may change some of that. AHH, can you tell me how long yours are on the Slim? I'm guessing they're a little longer w/ a 0° clocking.

Thanks to DK & HH for helping me figure it out!

I will tell you I had trouble with the build sheet on Magnums sight. It would not "accept" the G coil end needed for wire #2. In my original build info one of the coil end said G and the other said A because this system would not accept G for coil end on wire #2. I have edited the info to reflect the actual designation needed. Hope this makes sense? I contacted Magnum and they were supposed to correct this. If you run into this you will have to call them.

Custom Length Ignition Wires
- Color: Sterling Chromite II

- Wire 1 Coil End Boot: G
- Wire 2 Coil End Boot: G
- Wire 2 Spark Plug Boot: C

- Wire 2 Length: 8.5
- Boot Clocking: 0°
Thanks for this info brother.....

Mine are 8.5 inches from boot corner to boot corner. Boots are 90 degrees to force the wire down and away from the gas tank. I almost went 9" or 9.5", and happy I didn't go less than 8.5.

Hope this helps good luck man,
Andy
