Front end & bars done! Got the pics.

RE: Front end & bars done! Got the pics.
Thanks everyone.
Everyone says the Wild1 518 bars are really comfy. To me they take a little getting used to. Theyfeel wide and low, which is why they look so cool, but I find myself reaching down about 1/2" too much. I can tweak'em by rotating up just a little. Low speed sharp turns are a little challenging, but I found that after an afternoon of riding, they are easily mastered. All in all, I am very pleased. I had never ridden a bike with 518's before this. Got my $ worth. Totally changes the look of the bike. "Old Skool" is the comment I get. Note: The mechanic had to lengthen the wires 4" because they rout differently.
PS - I used to live in Florida.

Used stock length wires. I'll post a thread with pics.

I questioned why lengthening the wires was necessary. Wild 1's said I might need a longer throttle & right brake cable only. I got by with stock. The shop said that where the wires exited the bars took the wires a different route, and there was binding when the bars were turned left. They had to lengthen 20 wires 4". They charged 3 hours additional labor at $55 an hour, though they said it took longer.
