Remove the windshield, attach a leather baggie on the forks, remove rear fender too and you got yourself a cool-looking bike! *thumbup*

Took apart my speedometer and changed the leds to match the color scheme of the bike. Now I just have to finish up the rest of my winter projects and get the bike back together before the weather turns in another week or so.

first ride of the year, 3/4 of a mile in 40 degree weather so I could get the fluids hot enough to change.

Full fluid change, front and back pads, installed new wheels/tires.rotors, pulley. Now I've decided I have to drop the front 1" so she sits level again. One mod seems to always adds another

Smile Not really done in one day....but....

Today was the culmination of a two year (one year was Pandemic) journey to take a 2018 FXBRS and shape it into the incarnation God truly intended them to be:
2018 Softail FXBRS
5 gallon Fat Boy fuel tank.
2018 Fat Boy Seat and pillion.
Chrome all over, within reason.
131 Stage IV Kit
MasterTune TTS tuner

I posted pics of the fuel tank swaparoo in another thread which was started by someone else ages ago but figured as this is the final "planned" change for this bike, I would drop a few here as well.
I love this bike! Now onward with the break in miles!
Cheers.

Thanks, I'm real excited to get the bike back together and take it out at night but I think it's a nice touch. I hated the yellow Speedo lights, they really didn't fit with the color scheme of the bike. It was a real pia to get the Speedo apart since it's a "sealed" unit that isn't supposed to come apart but I was determined. I am no electrician so I was also a little worried about frying the circuit board since I've never soldered something so small before but I figured worst case scenario I end up buying a new Speedo with color options but I do like the stock one just not the color. It honestly wasn't as bad as I thought and I would totally tackle another job like that.
