Cold can be dealt with, roads covered with ice and salt not so much. I wait for the spring rains so the roads are free of debris all the plows leave behind.

What's a little cold? Man up! Just get out and ride. That's what those leather jackets hanging up in your closet are for.

Pulled the fork lowers off so I can bring them to the powdercoater, and pulled the bars of to do the heated grips install.

Cheers!

It was a few days ago, but I removed the heel shift lever and added a chrome cap to the shaft.
Since I grew up with toe shift only on many bikes and my first 2 Harleys where toe shift,
the heel-toe on the Heritage took some getting use to... I figured it and dealt with it for a while
but I gotta say, hitting neutral with toe shift only has become much easier! Plus my left foot
now has more room!

I've been wondering why these weren't black yet.

They still aren't going to be black.. I'm getting them powdercoated in matte silver. I actually like the look of the original raw aluminum, but the finish had gotten really ugly, as you can see in the pics above. I chose a colour that closely matches the aluminum, and the powdercoat should stand up to the elements long term.

Cheers!

Installed a new Saddlemen seat on my Fatboy. Haven’t riden with it yet, hopefully tomorrow. Looks good, feels good..moves me forward a bit which I think is fine.
