I ditched the rubber bushings when I first went to 10" mini-apes, the first year I had Reaper.

Cheers!
I went to the solid bushings and there's absolutely no movement, even pulling up on a bump. I love it, feels so solid. Also, the vibration is no more than it was with rubber. Mirrors don't buzz, I can see behind me, and the bike actually feels better now.

Ah cool. That's exactly the feedback I was looking for. I'll be installing Avon heated grips (replacing the Heat Demon handlebar inserts currently installed) over the winter, so I'll be pulling the bars. Think I'm gonna go with a set of solids. You have a recommendation brand-wise?

Thanks.

Cheers!

Hey Capt, won't be long after you put a few miles on those RAP's. One thing I did was mark the location of the softest setting, this way when you increase the preload you can count how many full turns on the ****. This will help you learn how many are needed for different riding situations. Enjoy.

Many thanks to 04FXDI for sending the relocation kit... turns out my Indy didn't need it!
So, if anyone else needs such, please let me know!
Now... how long will it be before I "must have" a monotube front suspension...

I'd already replaced the rubber bushings with poly, I like the solidness feel or the bars to trees/forks
But I have to wait until the Spring to ride it and see.

Installed a Dyna air cleaner cover on the Custom.
I've always loved the looks of the Dyna air cover.
Got it attached to an Arlen Ness Big Sucker.
Just need to get the ring insert.
Can't decide weather to paint the ring insert black or the same color of the bike.

First off thanks for your service 🇺🇸
When I had my 2014 Heritage I added this thumb switch to the throttle lock screw. Much easer than trying to turn the screw . The locking screw I felt was not adequate, so I also used a small black zip tie for extra security. I adjusted the locking screw so it barely locked in place. I was still able to back off on the throttle incase of an emergency. This is the product I used. Oh, also, I put a piece of felt on one side where it touched the throttle cable. I didn’t want the two to rub against each other.

This is the exact thing I was talking about on mine. Worth every penny! Simple to install and works great for what it is.

Since I bought this a few months ago I've noticed that sometimes I get a popping on decel. I bought it used from the local dealer and they can't tell me what tune it has, if any. But with the intake and exhaust it has, I know it should have some sort of tune if for no other reason than to get rid of the popping. So I went with the Fuelpak FP3. I'll be installing it one evening after work this next week. I wish now I had bought it earlier since I just installed the seat and fender rack a week ago and it all has to come back off. Poor planning on my part...

Can anyone give me a suggestion as to whether or not to leave the FP3 attached permanently and if so where to put it? Thanks in advance.

Default FP-3 Fuel Pak is a Godsend!

I had decel popping after I changed my exhaust pipes on my 2015 Heritage Classic . I installed HD street cannons. I then ordered a FP-3 fuel pak which literally took 10 minutes to install. I called Vance & Hines and they told me the program to use and the decel popping is gone! You have a choice to enter one of the pre programmed programs or ride the bike and let the FP-3 auto tune the bike. I have the FP-3 program installed in my phone so every now and then I check the FP-3 for updates which installs with a bluetooth connection from your phone. Great product!!!!!! Bike is more responsive, more power and runs great!

Thanks for the response. Do you leave the unit attached to the bike or remove it?
