The right foot peg on my highway bar was loose. Tried to tighten it and found it stripped. Found a new one online for $21 and put it on today.

Sometimes it is hard to work on your bike when your Scotty stuffs his huge snoot in your face.
what brand lights did you go with?

Got tired of the mess you get when changing the oil, so I installed the 3guyz remote filter

I finally rode it last night and they did a good job lighting up the road. The line was nice and solid no fade or coloring on the cutoff point. I never had a car flash me as if I had high beams on. My wife actually was behind me and said she could see the road better during the really dark areas we were riding in. She has a little bit of trouble seeing in the night because of her glasses and she said this made it like she was riding in the daylight.
The kit itself came with all of the parts and different types of connectors to adapt them. I have an 06 and I have the glass lights with the pins on the sides of the light, like the old car headlights.

These are like what I had in the passing light.

I even made a video of my wife changing the lights out on her bike.

Got my Custom Dynamics brake light to play nice with the rear blinkers. Turned out to a simple plug and play (plug and pay?!) issue. Now my blinkers actually blink while I'm braking 😀

I run 18-inch wheels so I am sorta limited to the choice of tires..I've run Dumlops and Michelin's but have never tried Pirelli's. Put on some Night Dragons yesterday.... with fresh brake pads front and rear. I hit the twisties for about 50 miles, took it easy to scrub off the new tire "fur"

I like these tires a lot, it seems they are a more bit rounded and roll into the corners very nicely. I gave the bike a wash, took a couple of pictures, and can't wait to put her through her paces tomorrow.
