Since everyone on this thread is into upgrades, mods, etc., perhaps someone can tell me what this adapter is for? The previous owner doesn't remember (?):

Cup holder.

Wife's softail would not start HD did a load test and it passed. We went for a ride turned the bike off and it would not restart. I gave it a jump with my bike and it started. I decided to do a draw test and it passed. I am thinking that this battery has a weak cell (18 months old). I decided to swap the battery with a new one and see what happens.

You probably checked this, but just in case...If everything measures good when tested, but it doesn't handle starting duties, it could possibly be that the battery terminals need cleaning/roughing up for better connection. Sometimes low draw duties will make it through poor connections, but a full amp draw for staring won't.

I used to work in auto repair. I did do the cleaning of the posts and terminal ends.
I did four startups in a row with the new battery and it started stronger and like it should. Tomorrow we are taking it on a ride to test it out.

I appreciate it, never know when you miss the obvious or what is obvious to others might not be for you. I never refuse help or advice.

All my lights were already LED's (not Custom Dynamics). Installed the CD Triple Play module today. Super easy install, works perfect, and I like it!

EDIT: Adding two photos, first is running lights, second is brake lights. Of course doesn't show initial four blinks of brake lights (including turn signals) (how I have Triple Play configured for now). Rack light does not blink (but does function as both running and brake light), lower fender light is always just a running light.

Seems most folks I have chatted with, that run the CD triple play, choose the 4 blink option out of the ten blink patterns to choose from.

The least obnoxious patter while still getting folks attention.

Bright lights and big mirrors.is my motto. Gotta see and be seen.

Installed a bar and shield horn cover. The horn even sounds better...not really!
