I'll play. I bought a new battery and everything for the oil change. I pulled the bike apart and will have the tins and pipes refinished this weekend. Getting some new parts and cleaning everything up real well. As you can see from the pics, the denim faded bad over the past 8 years. The rear fender especially. Got new emblems and new turn signal LEDs and lenses for the turn signals.

I finally got caught up with family chores, from helping the stepmother avoid getting hosed by Roto Rooter, and actually getting her problem fixed, freak'n thieves! But got here money back after threatening to take the issue to the local TV News station! Dealing with them when you need a plumber, is like going to McDonalds for a good Rib Eye!
Then spending a day driving to South Haven Mich. to pick my annual supply of Blueberries, the a day washing, freezing and bagging them!
Now finally today I got to do some road miles! I picked up and had the Michelin Commander II mounted and finally had time to put it back on the bike. What a difference these tires make, for touring duties which is what my Bitchless Heritage is used for, it is a way better ride quality than the stock Dunlop's!
Then I also picked up a new Wide Touring Mustang seat, WOW what a comfortable improvement over the 12 year old factory seat!! Only took about a 50 mile ride today, but it was a huge improvement. I will be doing a Lake Michigan road trip next week, and will get back with others just how these upgrades make getting more miles between breaks. On thing is for sure, this old *** really appreciates what I experienced so far.
Slowly but surely, the "Bitchless Softglide" is coming together!

Lazy day here in the south, water pourin off me like an ice cube in a sauna. I had a short in the runnin lights,tail-tag,so I took a look at the shop manual, x bone with heritage dressin, pulled the seat and bags 8 nuts/bolts unhooked the wires going to the taillight and pulled 4 bolts holding the finder on. Meatered the plug going to the rear, one went straight to ground. Pulled the taillight off and started following colors, two pink ones conected together one straight to ground. Turns out the one going to tag lite was pinched. So its fixed. Next up is the springer service here at my garage.
