Man, I love those tank badges.......... Nice ride.............

NOOOOOOO 0796bob! NOT de-chroming a Deluxe!! I can't even bare to look, that's blasphemy! As for mine? Today? I went out, removed it's covers just to make sure everything is still OK with it. I have a REAL HILLBILLY, REDNECK way of keeping my bike nice and toasty all winter in an unheated garage so I like to check on it once in a while. I keep it's little "cocoon" at a steady 55 degrees all winter long.

I actually had this crazy notion or riding it today but the roads are still to wet and salt covered. It's about 45 degrees today, warm enough for a little ride but not with the roads still in the condition they are in. A little road spray I could live with but not road spray with salt. Everything looked good under there so I put it back to bed in it's toasty little warm spot. If you have an unheated garage and wondering how to keep your bike nice and warm all winter send me a message and I will share. Just be forewarned, it's hillbilly ingenuity at it's best!!!
