Got my chrome forks on. Found these from a chrome plating place that did a great job for a sweet price. Mods are done for this year..... I think

I actually found them on eBay. They charge you a $90 core charge for your forks and send you forks they got, refurbished and do a 5 plate chrome on them. Once you send them your stock forks, they give you the $90 core charge back. After getting my $90 back it was $170 for the forks shipped. They are perfect too. Not one blemish or anything. I believe they have a 3 year warranty on the chrome plating also.

Lol I did the same exact thing. I did the progressive drop ins last year. Wanted to do chrome lowers, but didn't want to spend $500 from Harley and was skeptical about the eBay ones. Decided to try it out this year and the company was awesome to work with. They are out of Cali. Fast shipping and actually responds to emails lol.
Yeah, if you did the drop ins, you can do the lowers. I had a buddy give me a hand. It took us about 3 to 4 hours to do taking our time. I used a 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" PVC pipe that I cut down the long way to slip over the tubes to press the new fork seals in. Which was easy to do, I forgot if it was 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" but I had it laying around the house. The only other thing was I got chrome bolts for the fender and chrome cans. It's really not a hard job. If you search there are some good write ups on here how to do it.
But I'm definitely glad I went that route. Saved me a good chunk of change and very happy with the quality.
Oh, I also put in the heavy duty fork oil in, and it rides great.

Swapped my stock headlight bulb with a Hogworkz LED.
Here's a before and after in the daylight. Before is on RH side.
Very happy with the product and the service!

Looks good man. Makes a huge difference at night. Custom dynamics makes a little jumper plug that's $20 that keeps your passing lamps on with your high beams too. I did that also just to be as visible as possible. Simple to install too.
