Thanks for stating an obvious answer, but the problem is that I need the seal removed and the new one reversed, which the dealer most likely won't do. I'm looking for a tool that will pull the seal.

No good answers but that will be a hard seal to remove without splitting the cases. Id like to know what type puller they use.

Well, I scoured the internet for any clue as what to use, and found nothing but install tools for the sprocket seal. So I asked my Bro-in-law (ex Harley mechanic) and while he hadn't worked on any of the new (2000 up) bikes, he recommended the Harbor Freight "Seal Puller with 2 Tips" (#35556). So I picked that up along with their #69025 Seal Puller. The 2-tips one was the only one that got in there and pulled the seal out. It's a bit soft steel, but that's ok because it's cheap at $6.99. Now on to making my own install tool.
