Default Hogworkz, Bassani, Cobra

2007 Softail Deluxe. I just replaced the stock exhaust with Bassani FireFlights (Evolution SS clamps), hooked up a Cobra Fi2000R fuel programmer, and put in Hogworkz chrome halomakhalomakers.

Oxygen sensors and injector connectors were hard to get at but pretty straightforward. Had a Low TPS code when I was finished.. looked around and the connector had come undone. All good now!

Sounds mean, looks sweet. And the lights are nice and bright. Can't wait to take er for a rip. Winter rainstorm in effect.

Tips

All,

Thanks guys for the speedy replies. Seeing is believing, so I may look into the factory kit that was referenced.

I did find a kit from Mother Road that also looks promising.

It's been a couple weeks since I rode any distance, heading to Atlanta for Christmas so it'll be another week. Topped off the tank, added Stabil, put the Battery Tender on 'er, wiped 'er down and covered her with a sheet. We'll be back next Friday and temp is forecast to be 70. I told the wife unit after spending a week with my in-laws it'd be a grave tactical error to be caught standing between me and the motorsickle when we get back.

For those that have not downloaded the 2019 P&A catalog, here's a snippet of the install kit.

Not sure I'd like the underside so "open to the elements" where anything could accidentally fall or get into it.

good luck,

T.

I got caught out in the rain the other day on a ride. It wasn’t that cold out today so I decided to wash off the road grime before a quick spin

Had my 30,000 mile service done and new tires front and back on Thursday. Took it for a 480 mile breakin ride yesterday.
