Ordered some Leatherworks pony express bags, a new headlight, and some new tires (Avon Cobras) for my springer.

I got tired of the jam nut on my Heritage brake pedal backing off allowing the pedal to rattle to beat the band. So I ground down two regular 7/16X20 nuts so both would fit on the shaft and locked them bitches down. No mo rattles.

But after looking at the picture I think tomorrow I'll replace the outer nut with a chrome acorn nut. That'll look much better.

Dwayne won't be back at the computer til Monday....I reckon he'll be riding all weekend.

No remap needed, still stock A/C, but even with a free flowing A/C, a new map will help it run even better, but it also helps bone stock run even better, but is not needed like on the Twin Cams....see info on M8 AFR at this LINK.

Here is a video of another M8 Softail we did a couple of months ago.

Here is a graphic of how they work...and you can see a report on them HERE.

Re-installed the bags I just got back from Boss Bags. $250.00 well spent. They look and feel like leather covered hard bags now.

Then I took a ride up to Pulaski TN to get a Powerball ticket, since the governor says we can’t buy them here in Alabama. If I win the big prize, I’m thinking about getting some sweet LED turn signals.

Thanks for the add'tl info. Something I would have been all over in my younger days. Sounds pretty good. Is that with a stock cam on that Street Bob?

Hey Man, how's it going? Looks like 2 nuts are better than 1....

Yes, he had just got it, bone stock, only change was to the slip-ons.
