I needed to add a small hole for the electrical hookups so I stopped in and checked on the fairing.

Sounds like I will be getting it back next week, so it sounds like it will be ready...
Everything is falling into place (knock on wood) before any long rides.

got a teardrop toolkit off of craigslist and chrome rear axle plates from a friends garage sale.
I initially installed the vance and hines super quiet baffles in these pipes but im regretting it. they are way too quiet. so i tried to take them out last night and remove the fiberglass and drill some holes in the baffles, but one was stuck. couldnt even get it to budge. anyone have any advice?

I have the regular baffles on my V&H true duals. They do not have backs or fiber glass. I am looking to quiet it down a little bit and thinking of using the quiet baffles. If you want to do a trade I might be interested. As far as removing the baffle that is stuck, get PB Blaster or WD 40 and spray it in there to get it to loosen. I had one get stuck and I did that, plus tried getting it to rotate so it will just brake loose..

You can just fire it up and it will shoot out like a projectile! But on the other hand I had to post because your bike reminded me of my Caddie,
except your tires might be bigger! .lol

Fun day. No ride yet, due to weather but at least it's in my garage now and ready to go.
