Thanks for posting that. I've been wanting to upgrade my light to LED but never saw any pics of one on a FXSTS and wasn't sure how the modern LED would look on the springer front end.

Mounted a taller windscreen to compensate for the higher solo seat. I swapped the seat last summer and had really hated the way the wind blast was aimed right at my face. It was better riding without a shield at all.

Great customer service by Memphis Shades BTW. They had to make the screen, yet had it delivered to me within a week. $73 including shipping. I'm very happy with the change. I'm going to ditch the pillion. I never carry a passenger and I think a luggage rack would look better. Just trying to pick the right one.

Built the Bike Barn today and worked on the trailer, now if the snow would just finish melting so I could get the bike out.

I turned on my petcock this morning and felt a little gas leak so I drained the tanks and replaced the stock 25 year old petcock with a Pingel petcock I had laying around. In the process I noticed that the cross over hose between the tanks which was just as old looked like it was pretty deteriorated so I changed that out as well.

Then I went out to get bagels which was my original plan and was back by 8 am.

Rebuilt front master cylinder and bled brakes. Put speedbleeder on front. Rear was easy to reach so didn’t need one there. Rebuild made brake lever close tight again so brake lights wouldn’t keep flashing.

Got bike back from springer front end service and shifter shaft seal replacement.

Put on new drag bars, lower center console, and new pegs and hardware.

Next up is to swap the jiffy stand for the shorter one I bought and to change out headlight visor. Maybe tonight.

Changed the gas overflow tube on carb, cut and polished gas tank, replaced flange nut on rear exhaust that auto ejected itself. Went through the bike and checked torque and lock tite on fasteners.

Attempted to try semi chrome and 0000 steel wool to get rid of some scratches in chrome air cleaner cover to no avail.

Tomorrow is good weather so gonna take it out and ride with family.
