Took the Photo's today
Over the last week I was able to install the S.E. Stage 1 Ventilator and do a Stage 1 tune. After the tune I installed a set of Rinehart Slip-on's. The Stage I install bumped up the RPM's and the bike has much better throttle responce now. So, now the bike does not sound like it is going to stall when stopped at a light. The Rineharts have a real nice throaty sound but not toooo loud (which is my preference). No apparent change in performance after installing the Rinehart's.
Also did a few cosmetic changes.
First, I replaced a set of H-D Split vision mirrors with Kuryakyn Heavy Industry Mirrors. Liked the looks of the split vision mirrors but just could not use them to see the adjacent traffic lanes well enough. Seemed like a good idea, but just did not work for me.
Second, I had to take off the Grassshopper rider back rest. Because the Reach Seat has such a wide back portion, which I need to move me forward, the back rest was impossible to use. My arms are just not long enough.
Third, I added a Captain Itch Leather Crotch Cooler. Havn't sat in traffic too much yet so I don't really know if I need it with the M-8/bottom oil sump, that is supposed not to produce a lot of heat, but I'm sure it won't hurt having it.
Last, I even used some spray Smoke Tint to tone down the Red and Yellow reflectors. They stuck out like a sore thumb.
Have been talking with Gary at Leatherpros about replacement Saddlebags for the '18 Heritage. He says they will be available within a few weeks. The look of the bags will be more traditional, similar to their LP4000 series bags. I don't mid the look of the H-D bag but that open out top lid with the big hoop internal latch is the pits. Nothing fits unless it is soft and squishy.
Arn't those Rineharts good looking?
Gleaming in the sunlight!
Really should stop spending so much $$$$$.
