I put a new rear tire on yesterday. It was the first time I’ve changed a rear tire on a Harley, and that sum bitch killed my low back.

I did get to go for a nice 2 hour ride today. The weather here in S. Louisiana has been cold so it’s been interfering with my wind therapy appointments. It sure felt nice to get out. I feel for you all who are snowed in for 3 months.

 

Last night I started de-badging the tank (not a big fan of this tank badge).
I still have not decided on the front fender...

 

had the slim delivered to my house and gave the sporty one last throttle twist and pushed it on the trailer.





then rode the slim to work... what a difference!

That's funny, I remember you on the XL forums when I had my sporty too. I sold my sporty a few months ago and got a Slim S. Couldn't be happier I made the change.

Well the new part i fabricated was made and shipped here in 4 days to dress the under side of the tripple tree... excited to see it on the way little paint or powder coat and away goes the casted and rusty neck bottom... also finished up the altercations to the burst aircleaner and intake.

 

Look better with logo...

 

Ordered the last parts I need to “finish” the bike and made the appointment to install the cams.
