Decided to take advantage of Black Friday and ordered a Vision X headlight and harness to allow low and high beam to be on the same time. Unfortunately installation has to wait to spring when I take it out of it's storage box, is it over the top to build a box in your shed to protect your bike for the winter LOL.

It's not over-the-top if it's Mouse proof

Years ago, I built a shed just big enough to store my Dad's dresser when he had to go away for a bit. Ramp in one side, ramp out the other and just enough room to stand on the jiffy without leaning on the walls. House-mates at the time told me I was crazy. I told them "You have no idea!"
Nope... I don't see a problem there at all.

Is the shed used for anything else?
Then NO
I am trying to ride mine as much as possible (every month), so far so good.
We have had a couple of wet weeks so she has not moved, but we have sun in the forecast

Not at all. I bought my house because A motorcycle can go directly from the Garage to the heated basement. The only thing I might add to that box is a 40 watt lightbulb and a few cans of Gunsafe desiccant to keep condensation away when the temps change.
Where I live it goes below zero for a few months. When the temp rises condensation forms all over a bike. The heat from the lightbulb stops it.

Not at all. I cut a 4' x 6' hole in my wall, built a door for it just so I could pull my bike "in the house". LOL

I feel for you guys that need to put your bike up a few months a year.

It was a brisk 42* when I rode in this morning.

Only benefits I can see to not being able to ride some of the months each year-

1. I would get mods done more quickly, since I was spending less time riding

2. After a layoff, the first rides are always especially sweet.
