Finished the break in miles yesterday. I've put more miles on this bike in the week I've had, with a full work schedule, than I ever put on the Dyna in a month. I can't stay off it...

I rode 1577 documented miles in 35 hours two weekends ago with my buddies on their baggers to complete my second Iron Butt.

been following this site for a couple years. first post. recently moved into a new place. and since theres a TON of trees and bugs and dust. I got my dude a cover! He's all washed and clean and protected from all the sap and garbage. Last week I put on some black kuryakyn shift and brake levers and adjusted the clutch cable. When i did the 1K service at HD they adjusted it WAY different than I was used to. I don't know what is "normal" but it did not feel correct to me. talk to you guys soon!

I purchased the LED Headlight (HD Knockoff) from Amazon. $70. Installation was easy. Took it out last night and man, this light is bright! Can't believe HD wants $500 for their

light.
$70 LCD light from Amazon! Perfect!

Seach Amazon for: 7" Motorcycle Projector Daymaker LED Light Bulb Headlight Halo for Harley Davidson Headlamp Projection Spot Driving Light. $62

Have you checked to see if you're blinding oncoming traffic with that light?
I live in the country and am very interested in the technology but I do have some serious concerns and blinding the guy in a cage heading straight for me is one of them.

Should just be a simple matter of aiming it correctly.

Not so sure. I've read of some of the cheaper setups actually being designed from the manufacturer for car/truck lights and the light patterns are designed to work as one of two. a light designed specifically for singular use will usually have a different pattern spread to the emanating light.
of course, that may not be such an issue in

the market anymore as LED lighting becomes more commonplace but it wasn't that long ago that this was a real problem.

I'm sure you're fine. I was just asking about the brightness and adjust-ability without trying to get so detailed.

I hear your concerns, however, when riding at night I have not had anybody flash me to dim the headlight. There were hundreds of good reviews I read on Amazon prior to my purchase and I know how to adjust the headlight. If I rode around with the brights on, that would be a different story because they are bright as hell. The real test is longevity. Have you seen how bright the HD LED's are? I just didn't want to pay $500 to see and be seen at night.
