I took a 80+ mile ride and twisted the throttle as much as possible to produce carbon monoxide which contributes to global warming....

Neat solution! I got one of those Mustang mini-bibs, but this is more subtle. nice.

Whole bunch of things: changed fork oil, replaced front brake pads, changed brake fluid, increased shock preload, mounted Cobra's 1-1/2 in freeway bars (actually did the bars yesterday), tightened up steering stem, got rid of the windvest windscreen, removed front fender, yanked the POS Harley amp and bolt-on speakers, raised the rear end of the tank about an inch and a half with an aluminum block I machined which also elevates the front seat mount accordingly. Tomorrow or shortly after, replacing front wheel bearings (new ones received today, and installing air horn.

Picked up the title papers from the dealership, went to the tag agency and paid the TT&L, mounted up the plate, put my better half on the back and rode to the dealership to get a sundowner passenger seat; they had that in stock, but had to order the rider seat which will probably be in by next weekend. Mounted that up, stuck my better half on the back again and rode around for a bit on the way home; her butt, and thereby, me, couldn't be happier with my first mod.

Oh, and I cracked 500 miles on the odo.

Dug the bike out of the garage this morning as this side of the Pond it had to be one of the best Spring days yet!

Went for a blast along the country roads to a bikers café called 'Loomies.' Needless to say many like-minded bikers had exactly the same idea. Couldn't even get in the parking lot. Parked about 100 yards up the road in a layby and walked back to get a coffee and browse through the myriad of styles of bikes that were there!

Nice looking ride. I guess everyone is dying to get out. I was going to do the same today. 15C and sunny.
